🌿 Presenter Spotlight🌿
Kimmi Nguyen Lehr
We’re excited to welcome Kimmi Nguyen Lehr, the heart behind Nurtured Garden Studio, as a presenter at Movement for Mind.
Based in the Houston area, Kimmi’s work centers on helping busy professionals and families create beautiful, productive vegetable, herb, and flower gardens that nourish both body and mind. Her approach blends thoughtful design, hands‑on installation, and ongoing coaching—making gardening feel approachable, meaningful, and aligned with Houston’s unique climate.
Kimmi believes gardens can be powerful spaces for peace, creativity, confidence, and connection. Even small, intentional interactions with nature can support mental clarity and a sense of calm—and that philosophy comes to life in her work.
At Movement for Mind, Kimmi will guide participants through container planting with vegetables and flowers, inviting them to experience how simple, tactile moments with nature can support wellbeing in everyday life.

Modupé Ariel
Founder of Oládé Organics and The CommuniTea Gardens, Modupe is a Houston-based herbal wellness brand rooted in African Apothecary tradition, Kemetic energy work, and the principles of holistic self-care. After years in senior leadership in the government sector, balancing a demanding career alongside the quieter weight of real life, Modupé found herself at the wall so many high-performing professionals eventually meet. Self had become the last priority, until her body and mind made it clear that something had to change.
Her way back wasn't dramatic. It began with a cup of tea, a few quiet minutes to herself, and small intentional rituals woven into the life she already had. Those daily practices grew into a full system of herbal wellness, and that system became the foundation of the brand she leads today.
Oládé Organics offers handcrafted herbal formulas, including The 7 Herbal Intentions, a signature collection that aligns body, mind, and spirit through sensory ritual. The CommuniTea Gardens brings the practice into community through workshops, sister circles, mobile tea bar activations, and corporate wellness programming designed for teams navigating the realities of modern work.
A Certified Holistic Wellness Specialist, Herbal Formulator, and Reiki, Breathwork, and Meditation Facilitator, Modupé's mission is simple: meet working professionals inside their load, and offer them tools, rituals, and spaces that actually fit the lives they're living.

Angel Quesada | Tai Chi Instructor | Artist
Angel’s work reflects a deep understanding that mindful movement supports not only physical health, but mental focus and emotional steadiness as well. His classes invite participants to slow down just enough to listen to their bodies, rediscover efficiency in movement, and leave feeling more grounded than when they arrived.
Beyond teaching, Angel is also an artist, bringing creativity and expression into every space he enters. His perspective reminds us that movement itself can be an art form—one that nourishes the mind as much as the body.
You can also find Angel teaching Tai Chi for free at Discovery Green, where he shares his practice with the Houston community, making mindful movement accessible to all.
